Ott’s “Supreeme” Meatloaf


  • 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Cup bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 Cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. Ott's Silver Dollar City Barbecue Sauce


Combine all ingredients and bake 25 minutes in an 8 x8 inch square pan. Level meat combination in the pan in preparation of adding topping. At the end of the 25 minutes, drain off fat. While still hot, top with two medium sliced tomatoes and 4 oz. American cheese (Velveeta can be substituted). Topping: 1 Cup sour cream 3/4 Cup flour 3 eggs, separated 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Combine sour cream, flour, egg yolks, salt and pepper. Beat til thick and creamy. Beat egg whites till stiff but not dry, fold into above mixture and pour over meat, tomato and cheese. Bake 30 minutes until golden brown.
