Ott’s Buffalo Chicken Hoagies


  • 4 pieces (6 oz. each) boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • Salt and pepper
  • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
Sauce for chicken:
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. Ott's Original Wing Sauce
  • Leaf lettuce leaves
  • 1 or 2 sliced red tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. sliced sandwich pickles
  • 1 c. grated cheddar jack cheese
  • 4 crusty hoagie rolls, split
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 4 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. Ott's Ranch Dressing


Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Drizzle breast with a little extra virgin olive oil to coat. Pan grill chicken breasts 5 minutes on each side. Heat a metal or oven safe glass bowl over low heat and melt butter in the bowl. Add Ott's Original Wing Sauce to the butter and combine. When the chicken breasts are done, remove from pan and add to the bowl, coating evenly with hot sauce mixture. Place chicken breasts on bun bottoms and top with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, sliced sandwich pickles and grated cheese. Combine sour cream, scallions and Ott's Ranch Dressing and coat bun tops with Ranch sour cream. Place bun tops on sandwiches and serve with remaining sauce for dipping celery, carrots or veggies of choice.
